How this calculator works
The calculator adds the product duration to the last treatment date and compares to today's date. If a dose is overdue, it flags the gap so you know whether you may need an environmental treatment too (some flea life cycles can survive 6 months in carpets).

Should I treat all year round?
In most temperate climates, yes — fleas and ticks are increasingly active in winter due to milder temperatures and indoor heating.
Can I use the same product on my cat and dog?
No. Many dog products contain permethrin, which is highly toxic to cats. Always use species-specific products.
My pet still has fleas after treatment — why?
Up to 95% of flea biomass lives in the environment as eggs and larvae. Treat the home (vacuum, wash bedding hot, environmental spray) plus all pets at once.
