Pet Food Recall Watcher

Get an email if your pet's food is ever recalled β€” covers Ireland, UK and EU.

Pet food recalls happen surprisingly often β€” contamination, mislabelling, salmonella, vitamin imbalances. They're reported across three different agencies (FSAI in Ireland, FSA in the UK, RASFF in the EU) and most owners never see the news. Our watcher polls all three every day and emails you the moment a recall mentions a brand on your watch list. Free, one click to unsubscribe, and we never share your email.

Frequently asked questions

How often do you check?

Once every 24 hours, automatically. We pull the official RSS feeds from FSAI (Ireland), FSA (UK) and EU RASFF, deduplicate against what we've already seen, and store new recalls in our archive.

Will you spam me?

No. You only get an email when a recall mentions a brand you specifically asked us to watch. One unsubscribe link in every email kills your subscription instantly. We never sell, share or even use your email for marketing.

How precise is the brand matching?

Case-insensitive substring match against the recall headline and summary. Add the brand name as you see it on the bag β€” "Royal Canin", "Acana", etc. Add multiple variants if the brand uses different names in different countries.

What if I feed raw / homemade?

You can still subscribe β€” add the supplier or supplement brand. Recalls of raw foods (salmonella, listeria) are common and worth tracking.
