The Egyptian Mau is one of the few naturally spotted cat breeds and one of the oldest — direct descendants of the cats venerated by ancient Egyptians. Modern Maus reach speeds of nearly 50 km/h — the fastest domestic cat.

Temperament

Active, athletic, devoted, sometimes shy with strangers. Bonded with one or two people.

High. Need climbing, interactive toys, secure outdoor access ideal.
