Choosing the size
Go by chest girth, not by breed name and not by weight. Measure right around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and choose the size that puts your measurement comfortably inside its range rather than at the very top of it. If your dog falls between two sizes, take the larger one and adjust down — you can always tighten a harness, you cannot make one bigger.
Good to know
“Tactical” describes the styling and the build, not a training tool. Fit so two fingers slide flat under any strap: a loose harness is the one a dog reverses out of. Use the handle for short, deliberate holds — it is not a substitute for a leash, and it should never be used to lift a dog off the ground by the chest.
