Good to know

This is a dress collar, and it is honest to say so. The velvet is soft and the lead is light-duty — lovely on a small or steady dog, wrong for a large dog who pulls, where you want the tactical collar and a proper harness instead. Velvet also holds mud rather than shrugging it off, so it is a going-out collar rather than a hiking one.

Measure the neck with a soft tape and pick the size that leaves adjustment in both directions. Take it off for unsupervised and crate time.
