The Snowshoe was created in 1960s Philadelphia by crossing Siamese with bicolour American Shorthairs. Pointed coat with characteristic white feet ("snowshoes") and chest. Affectionate and family-oriented.

Temperament

Affectionate, vocal but quieter than Siamese, sociable, intelligent.
