Brittany
A medium-sized French gun dog — combines pointer + spaniel ability, with an eager-to-please family temperament.
Bred in the Breton region of France for hunting partridge + woodcock, the Brittany is equally happy as a family companion. They're smaller than most pointing breeds but with all the energy and trainability. Once called "Brittany Spaniel" — name simplified in 1982.
