West Highland White Terrier
Compact, white, alert Scottish terrier — the iconic "Westie".
The West Highland White Terrier was developed in 19th-century Scotland to hunt fox and badger. The all-white coat allowed hunters to spot dogs in dense undergrowth. Today's Westie is a confident, alert, compact companion with terrier independence.
